Workshops for 2025
Our workshops give you confidence to engage with and develop your garden and outdoor space. Details of the workshops on offer this year are below. There is a 10% discount for booking on both workshops (see booking page). At each workshop a variety of plants will be available for purchase.

Saturday 5th April
Create your own colourful cut flower patch
To include:

Plan the space for maximum output

Keeping the plot productive throughout the year

Learn techniques for sowing seeds and propagating dahlias

We will finish by making small posies to take away.
This workshop runs from 10.00am to 12.30.
It will be held in the garden and potting shed at Prospect House, Burton Leonard, HG3 3RS.
We will provide refreshments: tea, coffee and homemade cake.
The course cost is £50.
This course will be led by Georgina Bordewich and Cathy Kitchingman.

What to do now in your garden
The zenith of midsummer - Maximising the potential to create year round colour, calm and beauty.
To include:

How to evaluate the garden for future improvements

Pruning of early flowering shrubs

Chelsea chop for delayed flowering and sturdier plants

Planting out spring sown annuals
